Sixth Tone returns to KitchenSync with the ‘Tunnel of Lights’ EP, a five-track journey featuring stellar remixes from Tripeo and Luíza Lauzi. Overturn
Dórival Cora, aka Overturn, is a Galician artist who has been involved in electronic music for more than a decade, both performing live and producing music on his own label, Overturn Records.
The three original tracks represent a new link or a new piece in the puzzle that I’m creating of my sound. Trying to make it recognizable but not always the same. No doubt this piece of the puzzle I really enjoyed creating it – percussive and slow rhythms with synthesized sounds that come and go, and as always some melancholic pad that puts my feet on the ground. This 4-track EP also features a remix from Van Morph.
What's Cooking?
The KitchenSync Sessions are a monthly webcast beamed live from various kitchens across the UAE featuring Adam, Jovian, Zico and guests on deck duty. Friends for more than 15 years, the trio bring a wide range of musical influences to the 4-10pm warm-up sessions. Those KitchenSync sessions evolved into regular Behind The Sync shows, where they invited industry experts, artists and influencers to discuss current topics and shine a light on up-coming producers, DJs and promoters.
